This is a new treatment to refresh and rejuvenate the skin. With this treatment we very precisely ablate the outermost layers of the skin in a smooth, predictable and controlled fashion. This provides a more youthful and refreshed look and tends to improve wrinkles, pigment changes and spots. In addition to helping the skin look smoother and healthier, it can also improve the appearance of some types of scars.
The Laser Peel provides precise skin ablation and is deeper than microdermabrasion or light chemical peels, but less deep than traditional laser resurfacing. Therefore there is very quick healing and it is very safe.
Instead of going more deeply at one time, to get the best effect we repeat the treatment at intervals to get further improvement. This way you can usually expect little or no downtime with the treatments. We generally recommend an initial series of 4 treatments and we suggest that you space them at intervals of about one month or so for best effect.
You’ll feel a stinging sensation as the areas are treated. We try to tailor the treatments for you and we use a topical anesthetic if needed. This treatment can be done at any time of year and we try to make the treatments convenient for you.
